The Lion Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
1. Shirt—The official Lion t-shirt.
2. Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle or similar.
3. Pants - Blue jean shorts, pants, or skorts. Official uniform pants, shorts, or skorts are optional.
Optionally, you may also wear:
4. Cap—Official navy-blue Lion cap.
5. Neckerchief— Lion neckerchief.
6. Neckerchief slide— Lion neckerchief slide.
Uniform socks and hats are optional.
The Tiger Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
1. Shirt—The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
2. Pants— Blue jean shorts, pants, skorts, or optionally official blue BSA uniform pants, shorts, or skorts (or similiar style in navy).
3. Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle or similar.
4. Neckerchief—Orange triangular neckerchief with Tiger logo.
5. Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with orange Tiger emblem.
Uniform socks and hats are optional.
It is recommended that you buy the uniform shirt 1 to 2 sizes large so that you can use the same shirt for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos.
The Wolf Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
1. Shirt—The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
2. Pants— Blue jean shorts, pants, skorts, or optionally official blue BSA uniform pants, shorts, or skorts (or similiar style in navy).
3. Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle or similar.
4. Neckerchief— Red triangular neckerchief with Wolf logo.
5. Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with red Wolf emblem.
Uniform socks and hats are optional.
*Wolf uniform wear has been going through a rolling change during the 2018-19 year moving from yellow to red. For future years, look for new *red* neckerchiefs.
The Bear Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
1. Shirt—The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
2. Pants— Blue jean shorts, pants, skorts, or optionally official blue BSA uniform pants, shorts, or skorts (or similiar style in navy).
3. Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle or similar.
4. Neckerchief—Light blue triangular neckerchief with Bear logo. Official BSA neckerchiefs are the only neckerchiefs that are part of the uniform.
5. Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with light blue Bear emblem.
Uniform socks and hats are optional.
The Webelos Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
*This is a change for the 2024-2025 year. Webelos will no longer wear the same uniform as AOL.
1. Shirt—The official blue uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
2. Pants— Blue jean shorts, pants, skorts, or optionally official blue BSA uniform pants, shorts, or skorts (or similiar style in navy).
3. Belt—Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle or similar.
4. Neckerchief— Webelos plaid triangular neckerchief with Webelos logo.
5. Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with the fleur de lis emblem.
6. Adventure Colors- The Adventure Colors are worn on the right sleeve to display the Webelos Adventure Pins that have been earned.
Uniform socks and hats are optional.
The Arrow of Light Cub Scout uniform is as follows:
1. Shirt—The official tan uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
2. Pants— The official BSA green shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll up pants (or similiar style in olive green).
3. Belt—Official green web belt with BSA buckle or similar.
4. Socks—Official (or similar) green socks, available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee.
5. Neckerchief—The AOLs no longer wear a neckerchief, however, a den leader may ask them to form patrols and where a patrol neckerchief in preparation for the transition to Scouts BSA.
6. Shoulder Loops - Navy cub scout should loops to be worn on shirt.
7. Adventure Colors - The Adventure Colors are worn on the right sleeve to display the AOL Adventure Pins that have been earned.
Uniform hats are optional.
Consider buying the uniform shirt larger than necessary. This is the same uniform that will be used in a BSA Troop so buying a size up can save you some money as the scouts grow.
Cub Scout Leader uniform have the following parts:
1. Shirt—The official tan uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets. Leaders wear blue shoulder loops. The Cub Scout Leader position patch is placed on the left sleeve (Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Cubmaster, Committee Member, etc.)
2. Pants— The official green shorts, long pants, skorts, and roll up pants. Jeans are also acceptable.
3. Belt— Encouraged, Official green web belt with metal buckle, plain leather belt, or Scout leather belt with Scout belt buckle.
4. Socks— Encouraged, Official green socks are available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee.
5. Hat— Optional, if an adult chooses they may wear any official Scouting America hat.
6. Neckerchief— Optional, Den Leaders may wear any official Scouting America neckerchief. They do not wear youth neckerchiefs.
7. Neckerchief slide— Optional, Den Leaders may use an official Scouting America slide or may wear handmade neckerchief slides.
